Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Spa Leisure Operations Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our luxurious multi award winning spa and leisure facility within Hilton Aberdeen Teca.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing staff, coordinating health and safety tasks, and maintaining high standards of service. Your leadership will drive team performance, optimize operational efficiency, and uphold the hotel’s reputation for excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the guest journey, foster a positive work environment, and contribute to the overall success of our leisure offerings.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise all aspects of spa and leisure operations, including guest services, facility maintenance, and staff management.
Oversee shift management to ensure smooth daily operations while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Coordinate and manage events within the leisure space, including special nights, themed nights, or private functions, ensuring seamless execution.
Develop and implement operational procedures, report writing, and safety protocols to enhance efficiency and safety standards.
Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a memorable experience for all visitors.
Supervise cash handling procedures, reservations, and point-of-sale transactions with accuracy and integrity.
Lead a team of staff members by providing training, mentorship, and performance feedback to foster a motivated and professional environment.

Requirements

Proven management experience in hospitality or resort settings with a focus on leisure or spa operations.
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising teams in dynamic environments such as nightclubs or event spaces.
Strong background in customer service, guest relations, and hospitality standards.
Experience in pool plant operations, including backwashing, routine maintenance and general understanding of pwtag guidelines.
Excellent report writing skills for documenting incidents, operational updates, and staffing reports.
Familiarity with shift management practices and cash handling procedures.
Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience within a resort or hospitality environment is highly desirable.
Knowledge of health club and soa operations or management is a plus.
