Full job description

We are looking for Sessional Childcare Practitioners to join our team here in Cummings Park, Aberdeen.

This is an 'as and when required' role to fit around the needs of the nursery and your availability to work between the hours of 8am and 6pm. The hourly rate of pay for this post is £13.45-£13.79 per hour.

Your qualifications and experience:

We are looking for qualified and unqualified sessional childcare practitioners to come and work in our nursery. Ideal candidates will have some experience in working with children and be available to work between the hours of 8am and 6pm.

The Role:

The successful candidates will be expected to deliver high quality early learning and childcare for children; they will be expected to support the Service Manager and the existing team. This role would be ideal for someone looking to start or further progress a career in childcare and will provide a pathway to childcare qualifications.

The Setting:

The nursery is a custom built ELC setting and part of the charity Flexible Childcare Services Scotland (FCSS). FCSS is unique in that parents are able to book childcare by the hour, pay as they go and change their bookings each week. This flexible childcare model helps save families money on their childcare while supporting them back into education and employment, helping to distance the whole family from poverty.
