Due to increased demand across our operations, we are seeking to recruit a QC Inspector to join our growing team.

THE ROLE:
The QC Inspector supports Titan’s commitment to high quality, reliable outputs by checking that materials, machined and incoming parts meet the right specifications and standards. The role helps Titan achieve its goals by preventing non-conforming product from moving forward, protecting traceability, and supporting consistent quality across the machine shop and wider operations.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES:
Machine Shop and Incoming Parts Inspection
Verify the quality of machined parts through detailed inspections and sample checks against engineering drawings and specifications.
New Asset Quality Checks
Perform quality inspections on new equipment and assets, including verification of Certificates of Conformance (COC), part numbers, and documentation. Conduct dimensional and sample inspections as needed.
Incoming Raw Material Inspection
Inspect and verify incoming raw materials for conformity to specified requirements and ensure proper documentation and traceability.
Storage & Handling Compliance
Monitor and enforce procedures for the proper storage and handling of raw materials and finished goods to maintain quality and prevent damage or contamination.
Measurement & Calibration Control
Maintain and monitor calibration schedules for all measuring instruments and equipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with national standards.
NCRs and Investigations
Assist in NCRs and Investigations in line with specific responsibilities and records relevant to the role.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adhere to existing work practices, methods and procedures
- Undertake relevant training and development activities as required
- Maintain confidentiality and observe data protection and associated guidelines
- Comply with Titan Energies' health and safety policies and procedures
- Perform any reasonable duties and responsibilities within the overall function in line with the level of responsibility of the role
- Familiarity with the Titan Organisation Chart, from Line Manager to the wider company structure.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Proven experience in quality assurance/control within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of inspection methods, measuring equipment, and calibration standards.
- Familiarity with ISO standards, quality management systems, and supplier quality auditing.
SKILLS
- Organisational Skills – Strong organisation skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Attention to Detail – Accurate record keeping in adherence to schedule and deadlines
- Time Management – Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently
- Communication Skills – Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
- HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience
- Forklift Licence - B1 Minimum (Preferred)
- Gantry Crane Operator (Preferred)
- Familiarity with NS-2 and DS-1 (Preferred)
- Experience inspecting rental equipment returned from offshore operations (Preferred)
