Full job description

We are looking for a Medical Receptionist to work in our fast-paced medical centre. You will be responsible for answering the phone, greeting patients and handling appointments, so we are looking for someone who is friendly and personable. The successful candidate will also be required to provide administrative support to the office staff, so strong organisational skills are also a must-have.

Responsibilities:

Greet patients, families and staff, and direct them to the appropriate areas of the practice.
Manage patient flow through the clinic, maintain patient records and ensure that appointments are scheduled.
Answer and forward incoming calls, schedule appointments for doctors and other medical professionals.

We are looking for someone to work Monday to Friday 12-5 pm (25 hours). We are looking for someone who is flexible in their working hours and able to help cover sickness and annual leave.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £14.66 per hour
