About the Role
As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing residents’ wellbeing by planning and delivering engaging, meaningful activities tailored to their needs and interests. You will also support the Home Manager in organising events and creating a vibrant, inclusive environment.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who is:
- Fun, enthusiastic, and passionate about supporting residents’ care and wellbeing
- A strong team player who values integrity, compassion, and inclusion
- Comfortable using email and IT systems (e.g. Microsoft Office)
- Confident using a smartphone (Apple/Android) to capture photos and showcase life in the home
Experience
- Previous experience as an Activities Coordinator or within a care home is preferred but not essential
- Candidates with transferable experience (e.g. education, community roles) are encouraged to apply
Working Hours
- Approximately 35 hours per week
- Shifts across 7 days on a rota basis
- Typical hours: 10:00am – 6:00pm (with a 1-hour break)
- Flexibility required depending on seasonal activities and events
