Overview

Join our dynamic team as an Apprentice Office Administrator and kick-start your career in a fast-paced, professional environment! This paid apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to develop essential administrative skills while gaining hands-on experience in office operations. You'll be an integral part of our team, supporting daily functions and ensuring the smooth running of our office. If you're organized, proactive, and eager to learn, this role is perfect for you to grow your career and build a solid foundation in office administration.

Duties

Assist with daily administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document management to keep the office organized and efficient.
Answer phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while directing inquiries appropriately.
Support scheduling and calendar management for team meetings and appointments, ensuring all events are well-coordinated.
Utilize Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications to prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence.
Enter data accurately into systems like QuickBooks or other accounting software to support financial record-keeping.
Help maintain office supplies inventory and coordinate procurement to ensure all departments are well-equipped.
Perform clerical duties including photocopying, scanning, mailing, and organizing files to streamline office workflows.

Qualifications

Eagerness to learn: A positive, "can-do" attitude with a strong desire to develop a long-term career in business administration.
Basic computer literacy: Comfortable using a computer and familiar with the basics of typing, sending emails, or browsing the internet.
Organized mindset: A natural ability to keep your own work tidy and a willingness to learn how to manage multiple tasks.
Good communicator: Friendly and clear communication skills, both when speaking to colleagues in the office and answering the phone.
Reliable team player: Able to turn up on time, follow instructions carefully, and work well alongside other team members.
No experience required: Previous office experience is absolutely not necessary—full on-the-job training and mentorship will be provided from day one.

Pay: £15,600.00-£21,157.50 per year
