Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and organised Office Assistant to support our administrative team. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent organisational abilities, and prior office experience. This role involves handling various clerical duties, maintaining efficient office operations, and providing exceptional support to staff and clients. The position offers an opportunity to develop professional skills within a dynamic environment.

Duties

Manage incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and direct enquiries appropriately
Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
Organise and maintain files, records, and documentation in both digital and physical formats
Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and calendar management
Prepare correspondence, reports, and other documents as required
Support invoicing and billing processes through QuickBooks or similar programmes
Handle general administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and mailing
Provide support for team projects and ad hoc administrative duties to ensure smooth office operations

Requirements

Proven office experience or administrative background
Strong computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive), and data entry skills
Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Good typing speed and accuracy for document preparation and data entry
Demonstrable phone etiquette with a professional manner when communicating with clients and colleagues
Clerical experience that highlights attention to detail and reliability
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

This position is ideal for organised individuals seeking to utilise their administrative skills within a supportive workplace.
