We are seeking an Experianced Wood Machinist to join our busy workshop in Farington. This is a full‑time, permanent role for an experienced individual who can operate a range of woodworking machinery safely and efficiently.
The successful applicant must demonstrate a conscientious attitude, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high‑quality components. Punctuality and reliable attendance are essential.
Wages will be negotiable depending on age and experience.
Role Responsibilities
- Setting, operating, and maintaining woodworking machinery (e.g., spindle moulder, planer, bandsaw, crosscut, CNC if applicable)
- Producing accurate components to specification
- Working from technical drawings and supervisor instructions
- Conducting quality checks to ensure all work meets required standards
- General workshop duties as required
- Assisting with loading/unloading materials when needed
Hours & Contract
- Full-time, Permanent
- 38 hours per week over four days (Monday–Thursday)
- During busy periods, Friday morning overtime may be required

- Previous experience as a wood machinist is essential
- Ability to work safely and confidently with workshop machinery

- Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions
