VETERINARY RECEPTIONIST

Based at our busy Ashington branch.

We work from four branch clinics (Worthing, Ashington, Pulborough and Westergate) and two state-of-the-art hospitals (Storrington and Chichester). Our reception team are the face of our business. As front of house, our team are committed to delivering exemplary customer service at all times whilst offering compassion, patience and dedication in a variety of situations. They are not just receptionists; they are essential collaborators between customers and the clinical team. We understand that our team is what makes Arun Veterinary Group great. Whether your interest is in customer service, building new skills or something else entirely, we’re committed to nurturing your talents.

About you

You’ll be an experienced receptionist, ideally from a veterinary or clinical background although not essential, you will have a high level of confidence and passion to work with customers and their beloved pets. A valid driving licence is required due to the nature of the role, and you must have sufficient computer skills.

Most importantly, you’ll share and demonstrate our values. These are humility, respect, empathy, work ethic, honesty, communication, and teamwork.

Benefits

Your benefits will include training; standard pension benefit; 40% staff discount for own pets; enhanced parental leave (6 months paid at 90%); enhanced sickness benefit (2 weeks at 100%); generous holiday (7 weeks, including bank holidays) and occupational health resources, including mental health support.

Rota

4-days a week Monday - Friday, 6 hour shifts alternating between AM and PM shifts each week. Totalling 32.5 hours per week.

Requirement for everyone to join the weekend and bank holiday rota.

This role is based at our busy Ashington branch. You maybe required to cover at our other sites if necessary.

Salary

£12.74 per hour.
