Job Overview

Due to the continued growth of our managed property portfolio, MWD Residential Lettings is looking for an organised, proactive and detail-focused Lettings Administrator to join our team in East Kilbride.

This is a varied, administration-focused role within our busy Lettings Department, working closely with both the Lettings and Property Management teams and reporting to the Operations Director.

The role includes tenant enquiries and referencing, preparing tenancy agreements, notices and rent increases, processing utility notifications, arranging property inspections and providing general lettings administration.

While primarily office-based, you will also be expected to be flexible and assist outside the office when required, including attending properties and carrying out lettings viewings.

This is a varied role with the opportunity to develop, take on additional responsibilities and progress within MWD Residential Lettings as the business continues to grow.

Previous experience within residential lettings, property management or estate agency is highly desirable.

A full UK driving licence and access to your own car are essential.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Responding to prospective and existing tenant enquiries
Handling landlord and tenant queries and correspondence
Processing tenant applications and referencing
Preparing and issuing tenancy agreements and associated documentation
Preparing and issuing relevant tenancy notices
Processing and administering rent increases
Coordinating new tenancy and move-in administration
Processing utility and council notifications
Completing deposit and tenancy-related administration
Arranging and coordinating property inspections
Advertising available properties and coordinating viewing enquiries
Maintaining accurate landlord, tenant and property records
Monitoring important tenancy dates and outstanding documentation
Liaising with landlords, tenants and prospective tenants
Working closely with the Lettings and Property Management Departments
Ensuring outstanding administrative actions are followed through to completion
Conducting lettings viewings and attending properties when required
Providing general administrative support and undertaking other reasonable duties as required to support the effective operation of the Lettings Department

About You

Organised with excellent attention to detail
Professional and confident when dealing with landlords, tenants and applicants
A strong written and verbal communicator
Comfortable working within a busy administrative environment
Proactive and willing to help where required
Comfortable using IT and learning property management systems
Able to prioritise tasks and work effectively as part of a team
Keen to develop their knowledge and progress within residential lettings

Salary & Benefits

£23,500–£26,250 per annum, depending on experience
25 days' annual leave plus statutory holidays
