Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and maintaining various metal components and structures. This role requires a strong understanding of welding and fabrication. The successful applicant will contribute to the upkeep and enhancement of our facilities through precise fabrication and maintenance. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for metalwork and mechanical systems to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Perform welding and fabrication to a high standard
Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and efficiently
Conduct fabrication tasks with cnc press and laser cutting
Assist with maintenance tasks in the workshop
Use basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks
Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards
Collaborate with team members to complete projects within specified timeframes

Experience

Proven experience in welding
Strong knowledge of fabrication processes involving sheet metal and structural components
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
Mechanical knowledge relevant to maintenance tasks and equipment repair
Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality assurance purposes
Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing environments is advantageous
