Job Summary

Join our friendly team as a Bakery Shop Assistant! In this energetic role, you will be the friendly face greeting customers, assisting with their selections, and ensuring the bakery operates smoothly and efficiently. Your enthusiasm and organisational skills will help create a welcoming atmosphere where customers feel valued and inspired to indulge in our delicious baked goods. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your customer service expertise while working in a lively, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service
Assist customers in selecting baked goods, answering questions about products, and making recommendations
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the sales area, displays and shelves
Support merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively and restocking as needed
Process sales transactions accurately using the till (POS) system
Upsell bakery items and promotions to increase sales and customer satisfaction
Manage time effectively to ensure all duties are completed promptly during busy periods

Pay: From £12.71 per hour

Work Location: In person
