Job Opportunity

As a Senior Care Practitioner, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day delivery of high-quality care and providing leadership throughout your shift.

Your responsibilities will include:

Leading and supporting Care Practitioners during each shift
Ensuring safe, effective, and person-centred care is delivered at all times
Administering and managing medication in accordance with company policies and procedures
Maintaining accurate care records and documentation
Monitoring residents' wellbeing and escalating concerns appropriately
Supporting the implementation and review of care plans
Acting as a role model and mentor for junior team members
Liaising with healthcare professionals, relatives, and members of the wider multidisciplinary team
Supporting the Management Team in the smooth day-to-day running of the home

Essential Skills

What We're Looking For

Essential

Previous experience within a residential, nursing, or dementia care setting
Confidence leading shifts and coordinating care delivery
Strong understanding of person-centred care
Good written and verbal communication skills
A commitment to delivering high standards of care

Desirable

NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Health & Social Care
Experience administering medication
Previous supervisory or senior care experience
Personal Qualities
