Location: Manchester (Hybrid)

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised Finance & Compliance Coordinator to support the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of a growing business group.
The role will primarily focus on bookkeeping, finance administration, and supporting internal compliance activities. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management, external accountants, and operational teams to ensure financial records are accurate, processes are followed, and key business administration tasks are completed efficiently.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with bookkeeping experience who enjoys variety and takes pride in keeping things organised and up to date.
Key Responsibilities: Finance & Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate financial records using Xero.
- Process supplier invoices and payments.
- Raise customer invoices where required.
- Reconcile bank accounts and company cards.
- Manage purchase and sales ledgers.
- Monitor outstanding invoices and supplier balances.
- Assist with month-end finance processes.
- Prepare information for external accountants.
- Support payroll administration.
- Maintain finance records and filing systems.
- Assist with basic reporting and spreadsheet management.
Compliance Support
- Maintain compliance registers and records.
- Support the completion of routine compliance tasks.
- Ensure company policies and documents remain up to date.
- Assist with GDPR and data protection administration.
- Maintain training records and compliance logs.
- Support audit and information requests.
- Assist with supplier onboarding and due diligence checks.
Administration & Business Support
- Maintain company records and documentation.
- Support contract and supplier administration.
- Assist with office administration and operational tasks.
- Coordinate business renewals, subscriptions and key dates.
- Support management with ad-hoc projects and reporting.
Skills & ExperienceEssential
- Experience using Xero.
- Previous bookkeeping or finance administration experience.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable
- AAT qualification or working towards AAT.
- Experience within a regulated environment.
- Experience supporting compliance activities.
- Knowledge of payroll administration.

Pay: £24,420.00-£60,623.42 per year
