360 Material Scrap Handler Driver
Salary Negotiable depending on experience.
Location Nechells,Birmingham
A Crane Driver is required for a large scrap metal processing company based in
Nechells, Brirmingham .
As a Crane Driver, you will be working as a part of the yard team.
Loading lorries, sorting materials and feeding a shredder when required.
360 material handler, Bobcat and forklift truck experience preferred.
Hours
7am - 5pm Mon - Fri . 7pm - 12pm Saturday as required.
The rate of pay for this role is negotiable depending on experience.
This role is on a perm basis.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Grade and sort metal types
- Operate the crane to stack or load sorted metal, and keep the yard in a tidy condition
- Plant and Machinery defect checks and completion of defect sheets, recording any defects, before using the crane.
- Carry out routine plant inspections.
- General housekeeping of metal in yard area.
Qualifications
- Crane driving licence essential
- Previous experience of minor crane repairs would be ideal.
- Forklift truck/Bobcat driving licence ideal but not essential.
- Experience in the scrap industry is an advantage.
- Trustworthy and reliable.
