Full job description

Role: Parts Person

Location: Aldridge, WS9 8TZ

Hours: 40 hours per week | between 08:00 - 16:30 Monday to Friday

Salary: Up to £26,500 pa DOE

Are you organised, customer-focused, and ready to support a busy parts operation? We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Parts Person to join our Aftermarket team!

This is a varied role where you’ll assist with ordering and processing parts for engineers, depots, and contracts, while also supporting the Parts Advisor with sales and customer service. You’ll play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer stock control for vans, site workshops, and contracts
Process parts orders accurately and in a timely manner
Assist with parts identification and warranty/returns processing
Support the team with customer orders, backorders, and special deliveries
Maintain a clean and organised work area
Respond to customer needs professionally and efficiently
Assist with audits and stock checks
Operate within company guidelines and procedures

Ideal Candidate:

Proven administration and customer service experience
Previous experience in workshop or parts control is desirable
Knowledge of HGV, waste industry, or service centre environments is a bonus
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Results-driven with the ability to stay focused under pressure
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
Flexible and willing to work overtime when required
Comfortable moving between office locations and occasionally entering/exiting vehicles
