Job Overview

We are seeking 4 Traffic & Carpark controllers to manage the flow of show traffic over the weekend of our annual show 7th - 9th August 2026 The successful candidate will ensure safety, efficiency, and smooth operation of traffic movements. You need to have excellent communication skills as the entrance lane is a narrow single track road.

Duties

Direct and control vehicle and pedestrian movement within designated areas using signalling devices or hand signals.
Monitor traffic conditions and adjust control measures accordingly to prevent congestion or accidents.
Communicate effectively with team members, site managers, and drivers to coordinate activities and relay important information.
Ensure all safety protocols are adhered to, including the proper placement of signage and barriers.
Record incidents or hazards encountered during shifts and report them promptly

Experience

Previous experience in traffic management is NOT required. Just good common sense and the ability to interact calmly and politely with the general public is a must have.
All training will be given on the weekend of the event.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond swiftly to changing conditions on-site.

Pay: £150.00 per day

Work Location: In person
