Job Overview
We’re looking for a commercially-minded Search Specialist who can take ownership of performance across both paid and organic search. This role goes beyond channel execution, you’ll be expected to understand how search fits into wider business growth, translating data into clear, actionable opportunities.
You’ll work across SEO and PPC strategies, balancing short-term performance with long-term growth, and contributing to client strategy alongside account leads.
What you'll be doing.
Search Strategy & Planning
- Develop integrated SEO + PPC strategies aligned to commercial goals
- Identify opportunities across demand capture (search) and demand generation
- Translate business objectives into channel-level plans with clear KPIs
Performance Delivery
- Manage and optimise PPC campaigns (Google Ads, etc.)
- Lead or contribute to SEO strategy (technical, on-site, content direction)
- Analyse performance data across both channels to identify growth levers
- Prioritise activity based on impact vs effort (not just channel silos)
Insight & Commercial Thinking
- Interpret data in a wider business context (e.g. revenue, lead quality, ROI)
- Identify blockers to performance beyond media (e.g. UX, conversion, messaging)
- Contribute to reporting and strategy discussions with clear recommendations
Collaboration
- Work with internal teams (strategy, design, dev) to improve performance holistically
- Support account leads in shaping client strategy and roadmap planning

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- PPC Campaign Management: 3 years (required)
- Strong grounding in either SEO or PPC, with practical exposure to both
- Able to think beyond channels and understand full customer journey
- Comfortable working with incomplete information / open briefs
- Commercially aware — understands performance in terms of revenue, not just metrics
- Curious and proactive — spots issues outside their “lane”

- Hybrid - remote in Swindon 3 days minimum
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
