Turbine Repair Technologies Ltd (TRT Ltd) are excited to be looking for an EHS Coordinator to join our HSE team. We encourage a large range of applicants from a wide range of backgrounds and experience levels.
TRT Ltd is a joint venture between Rolls-Royce Plc and Chromalloy, focused on the repair of gas turbine blades and vanes for aerospace and energy applications. It has specialisms in various coatings required to protect components from extreme heat during operations in addition to some more conventional repair techniques. TRT is beginning to use more advanced technologies in its repair processes such as robotics, adaptive machining and laser deposition.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identifying suitable training providers, and arranging and co-ordinating all training requirements relevant for the role
- Reporting, logging and prioritising accident and near miss reporting, including keeping accurate and up to date records for the accident register, in a timely manner
- Supporting accident and near miss investigations
- Logging, tracking and arranging biological monitoring, alongside our Occupational Health Nurse.
- Conduct EHS walks, and carry out departmental audits
- Compiling EHS bulletins, alongside the EHS Adviser, and ensuring that these are communicated, cascaded and displayed in relevant area/s
- Ensure the fire alarm testing regime is implemented on a weekly basis, in both units (Same site)
- Maintaining adequate first aid supplies
- Attend H&S committee meetings, and deputise for the EHS adviser
- Other ad hoc duties
- Any other duties that may be required by the Company.
In addition, the successful candidate will be required to understand and work to TRT guidelines and observe all TRT policies.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Excellent computer literacy, using Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint – this is essential for this role.
- The ability to use Teams.
- You will be comfortable being organized, with good communication skills, both spoken and written.
- A positive team player who is ambitious, with a willingness to learn.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- A manufacturing background, either chemical or Aero industry experience
- Chemical awareness (COSHH) knowledge and experience
- Carrying out or assisting with risk assessments
- Auditing skills
- In house training and presentation skills
- Accident and near miss investigation skills
- Fire safety awareness
- The ability to determine training provider suitability, which pertains to health and safety, or a willingness to learn how to do this
- IOSH managing safely
- Knowledge of environmental legislation or willingness to learn
This will be an office based role and will require the successful candidate to interact with others throughout the office and factory areas.
Key Information:
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 (Dependent on Experience and Qualifications)
Hours: Full Time – 37.5 Hours per week
