About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Powder Coating Technician to join our growing workshop team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced powder coater to develop their skills within a specialist wheel refurbishment environment. Previous experience powder coating alloy wheels is not essential, as full training will be provided on our specific processes and equipment.
You will be joining a fast-paced and dynamic company, with genuine opportunities to learn additional skills and progress within the business.
The Role
This is a hands-on position based at our Sheffield refurbishment workshop. The successful candidate will be responsible for powder coating alloy wheels to a high standard, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and meets our quality expectations.
Duties will include:
- Preparing alloy wheels for the powder coating process
- Powder coating alloy wheels to a consistently high standard
- Operating powder coating equipment safely and effectively
- Preparing and applying powder coatings according to the required finish
- Inspecting finished wheels and identifying any defects or imperfections
- Ensuring wheels are properly prepared before coating
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Following all health and safety and COSHH procedures
- Working efficiently to meet daily production targets
- Working as part of the wider workshop team to ensure jobs are completed on time
- Carrying out other workshop duties and assisting colleagues when required
Development Opportunities
You do not need previous experience powder coating alloy wheels. However, you must have previous experience in powder coating and understand the basic principles and processes involved.
We will provide training on our alloy wheel refurbishment processes, giving you the opportunity to develop your knowledge and learn additional skills within the business.
There will also be opportunities to train in other areas of the workshop, allowing you to broaden your skill set and progress into additional roles over time.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in powder coating is essential
- Previous experience powder coating alloy wheels is not required
- Good attention to detail and pride in your work
- Ability to produce a consistently high-quality finish

- Willingness to learn new skills and develop within the business

- Reliable and punctual approach to work
- A full UK driving licence is preferred
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Alternate Saturdays: 8:30am – 12:30pm
