Overview

We are seeking a motivated Operations Intern to join our reputable security firm. This paid internship offers valuable exposure to the operational aspects of the security industry, providing hands-on experience in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a keen interest in security operations. Responsibilities

Assist with daily operational tasks to support the security team and management
Observe and report on site activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
Support the coordination of security schedules and resource allocation
Contribute to the preparation of operational reports and documentation
Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance understanding of security protocols
Engage with clients and staff professionally, fostering positive relationships
Support in implementing health and safety measures across sites

Requirements

Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a relevant course such as Security Management, Business Administration, or similar field
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Keen interest in security operations and industry best practices
Basic IT literacy, including proficiency with MS Office suite
Valid UK driving licence is desirable but not essential
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
