Games Workshop has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Audiobook Producer to join the Black Library team. This is your chance to produce and engineer our award-winning and best-selling audiobooks and audio dramas, helping bring the worlds of Warhammer to life through exceptional audio storytelling.
We’re looking for a highly-experienced audiobook producer with a proven track record of delivering outstanding long-form audio productions. As the Audio team’s technical expert, you’ll be innovative, proactive, and continually seeking opportunities to improve processes and practices while maintaining the highest levels of quality.
Driven and forward-thinking, you’ll stay up to date with industry developments, explore new technologies, and share your expertise by mentoring colleagues to support creative excellence. Well connected and collaborative, you’ll also help grow our network of freelance actors and proof-listeners to support the Digital Team Manager in delivering Black Library’s audio strategy.
As a confident communicator with a passion for the Games Workshop IP, you’ll work from our purpose built studios to direct narrators to deliver compelling performances that capture the drama, emotion, and action of every story. Taking ownership of products from manuscript preparation and casting through recording, editing, mixing, mastering, delivery and archiving, you’ll ensure every project meets the exceptional standards our listeners expect.
This is a fast paced environment where you’ll confidently manage multiple productions at different stages of development, maintaining meticulous attention to detail and consistently delivering high quality results.
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate significant experience producing audiobooks, directing voice talent, and expert knowledge of ProTools and Google Suite, and a genuine passion for crafting outstanding audio experiences.
If you’re driven by storytelling, thrive on delivering exceptional work, and want to help create award-winning audio productions, we’d love to hear from you!
At Games Workshop we are looking for people who will do their best to understand the needs of the company and to put those needs first when they are at work. Because of this we believe that what you are like, hence the attitude you show to work and the way you choose to behave is even more important than your skills and experience.
The Warhammer World site is based just outside of Nottingham city centre and benefits from a nearby tram stop and free onsite car parking.
In return for your hard work, you will receive 33 days holiday per year (including public holidays), matching contributory pension scheme up to 7.5%, profit share bonus (subject to GW meeting profit targets) and option to join our Share Save scheme. Oh and let’s not forget, a staff discount of between 25% and 50% on our products!
