Semi skilled labourer Work, Jobs in Almondsbury, Gls (with Salaries)

Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised site, including regular clearing of waste, materials, and hazards in line with H&S standards.
Support tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc.) with skilled labour tasks to keep works progressing efficiently.
Confidently use your own tools to complete semi-skilled duties such as basic carpentry, fitting, patch repairs, drilling, fixing, and snagging.
Carry out demolition, strip-out works, groundwork preparation, and site set-up independently and safely.
Load, unload, and distribute materials and equipment across site using safe manual handling techniques.
Measure, cut, assemble, and install materials as directed by supervisors or site management.
Identify and report defects, risks, or material shortages promptly.
Follow site drawings and instructions; work with minimal supervision when required.
Adhere strictly to all site health & safety procedures, RAMS, and company policies.
Assist with opening and closing the site, ensuring tools, equipment, and work areas are secure.

What We’re Looking For

Solid on-site construction experience in a labouring or semi-skilled role (essential).
Own tools suitable for general site and trade-support tasks.
Ability to work independently and take initiative without constant supervision.
Ability to travel independently to sites.
Good understanding of construction methods, site safety, and manual handling practices.
Reliable, punctual, and professional with a strong work ethic.
Physically fit and comfortable with demanding manual work.
CSCS card (required/preferred).
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team

What We Offer

Self-employed (CIS) role with competitive pay: £15-17 per hour, depending on experience.
Full-time position (approx. 40 hours per week), Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work.
Varied work across Bristol and surrounding areas on active construction sites.
