Role Overview
Reporting to the Director of Estate Management and Associate of Professional Services, the Senior Surveyor will be responsible for the delivery of estate management and professional services to private clients. This includes managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and supporting the development of the team. The role offers a high level of autonomy, with a focus on delivering results and developing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide estate management services to private clients, including full management, consultancy, and advisory on rural property matters.
- Offer professional advice on a wide range of topics, such as landlord and tenant relations, valuations, diversification and development projects, lettings, energy, utility/compensation work and other emerging areas.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the business to enhance the value of the advice provided to clients.
- Support the enhancement of the company’s public profile by representing the business at relevant events and speaking engagements and contributing to the delivery of the Company’s ESG Strategy.
- Cultivate relationships with new and existing clients, contributing to the development of the business pipeline and growing the company’s client base.
- Maintain an active work pipeline, ensuring a continuous flow of business and identifying opportunities to expand service offerings.
- Take on additional duties as required to support the overall success of the team and business objectives.
What we’re looking for
- RICS accredited with at least five years PQE.
- Detailed knowledge and relevant experience in a similar role.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, being capable of developing strong working relationships with clients and colleagues
- Trustworthy and hardworking.
- The ability to work independently and within a team.
- Be flexible and proactive in managing multiple priorities.
