RBB Group are a Civil Engineering contractor delivering Earthworks, Groundworks, Drainage and Demolition projects throughout the North East of England.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to strengthen our commercial team.
Working closely with the senior management team, you will be responsible for the commercial management of projects from tender stage through to final account. We are looking for a proactive individual who takes ownership of their projects, works well as part of a team and is keen to contribute to the continued growth of the business.
- Preparation of estimates and tender submissions
- Obtaining and reviewing supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Assisting with tender reviews and project handovers
- Procurement and material ordering support
- Management of live project costs and commercial performance
- Preparation and submission of monthly valuations
- Pricing, management and agreement of variations
- Site measurement and progress reviews
- Cost tracking and reporting
- Management of subcontractor accounts
- Supporting operational teams throughout project delivery
- Assisting with final accounts
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor
- Experience within Civil Engineering, Groundworks or Construction
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Commercial awareness and the ability to work independently
- A full UK driving licence
