Located in the stunningly, idyllic Charlton Estate just outside of Alnwick, the Doxford Group sets the highest standard Northumberland has to offer. The Doxford Group is a family run organisation already specialising in delivering extraordinary wedding and event experiences.

It is essential that as our Chef de Partie you have an outgoing personality, exceptional organisational & communication skills, a level of excellence in health and safety/hygiene regulations, deliver exceptional food and adhere to exceptionally high standards of service.

You will be a team player but also a strong leader who is not afraid to step up to cover in the absence of your kitchen colleagues.

Your main responsibilities are to:

Ensure food preparation and control meets the requirements for COSHH, Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations and any incidents are reported in line with procedures
Maintain up to date product and menu knowledge
Maintain a high standard of food preparation, presentation and portion & quality control adhering to Shield and local authority 5 star standards.
Check in deliveries as required
Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained in all areas of the kitchen and equipment
Facilitate breakfast services in an effective manner (cover for Breakfast chef)
Provide support to other members of the kitchen and operations team as required.
