CLS Security Services Ltd is a professional, independent security company, established 6 months ago. We are already securing contracts across Staffordshire covering licensed premises, sporting venues, and large-scale events.
We are now looking for our key final appointment — an experienced Team Leader who has the ambition, drive, and loyalty to grow with us into the position of Operations Manager as the business expands.
This is not just a standard security role. Building a new company from scratch in this industry is challenging and hard work, so I need someone who fully understands this. You will need to be willing to help me every single day, going above and beyond the basic duties, and treating this business like it is your own. We operate like a family, not just a workforce, and need someone who fits that ethos perfectly.
Key Requirements
✅ 5+ years’ experience within the security industry (Door Supervision, Manned Guarding or Events essential)
✅ Valid SIA Licence (Door Supervisor)
✅ Full UK Driving Licence & own transport – Essential, as you will be required to travel between different sites
✅ Proven experience leading teams, running shifts, and maintaining high operational standards
✅ 100% Reliability – Non-negotiable. If you commit, you will be there.
✅ Strong, calm, authoritative presence with excellent conflict management and customer service skills
✅ Willingness to learn our ways, follow our standards, and help shape how the company runs
✅ Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and cover shifts when required
Role & Responsibilities
As Team Leader:
- Lead security operations at various sites across Staffordshire
- Supervise, brief, and mentor security officers; ensuring uniform, conduct, health & safety, and standards are always perfect
- De-escalate situations professionally and represent our brand with pride and authority
- Complete accurate reports, incident logs, and daily paperwork
- Communicate clearly with me and clients to ensure everything runs smoothly
- Be available to step in, help out, and solve problems whenever needed
Future Progression to Operations Manager:
- This role is designed to grow. Once you have proven yourself, you will move into a management position with increased pay and responsibility
- You will assist with rosters, recruitment, training new staff, and helping me manage the day-to-day running of the whole company
- You will be my right-hand person — helping me make decisions, improve our service, and expand our business further
