MBS Interiors is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team. This role focuses on designing kitchens and living rooms, transforming client visions into stunning, functional spaces. The ideal candidate must be highly proficient in SketchUp and rendering software to create realistic 3D visualizations that bring designs to life.

Core Skills
- Proficiency in SketchUp for 3D design and detailing.
- Strong skills in rendering software such as Lumion and Enscape to create realistic visual presentations.
- Ability to prepare accurate cutting lists for production.
- Good knowledge of wardrobe construction, fittings, and materials.
- Strong understanding of design principles, ergonomics, and space planning.
Responsibilities
Site Surveys & Client Consultations – Conduct on-site surveys, take accurate measurements, assess spaces, and gather detailed customer requirements for kitchens, fitted bedrooms, media walls, and other bespoke interior projects.
Design & Space Planning – Create innovative and practical designs tailored to customers' needs, maximizing functionality, storage, and aesthetics. Produce professional 3D designs, rendered visuals, and presentations to help customers visualize the final outcome.
Sales & Customer Conversion – Build strong relationships with customers, confidently present design proposals, address objections, and convert enquiries into confirmed sales. Follow up leads and quotations to achieve agreed sales targets.
Quotations & Project Proposals – Prepare accurate quotations, specifications, and project proposals based on customer requirements, designs, materials, and chosen finishes.
Technical Drawings & Cutting Lists – Produce detailed technical drawings and comprehensive cutting lists for workshop and production teams, ensuring accuracy and minimizing manufacturing errors.
Product Knowledge & Trend Awareness – Stay up to date with the latest trends, materials, finishes, storage solutions, fittings, and innovations within kitchens, fitted furniture, media walls, and home interiors.
Supplier & Product Management – Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to source new products, finishes, surfaces, and hardware, ensuring the business remains competitive and offers customers the latest design options.
Project Handover & Coordination – Work closely with production, installation, and management teams to ensure designs are delivered accurately and projects run smoothly from sale through to completion.
Customer Satisfaction – Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales and design process, maintaining high standards of professionalism and contributing to the company's reputation for quality and customer satisfaction.
