As one of our Hospitality Assistants you’ll do more than serve meals— you’ll help create experiences. You’ll help residents make sound choices with dignity, respect and independence being mindful of dietary needs, and cultural preferences, whilst maintaining clean, safe and welcoming dining areas in accordance with food hygiene standards and company policies, ensuring residents receive refreshments and nutritional support throughout the day in line with their preferences and care plans
What You’ll Do:

Prepare and serve meals, snacks and beverages to residents in a timely and professional manner.

Support residents during mealtimes, encouraging independence while providing assistance where appropriate.

Ensure residents are offered regular refreshments throughout the day.

Set up and clear dining areas before and after meals.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in dining rooms, kitchenettes and food service areas.

Monitor and report concerns regarding residents’ dietary intake, hydration, appetite or wellbeing.

Follow food hygiene, infection prevention and health and safety procedures at all times.

Ensure residents’ dietary requirements, allergies, cultural preferences and nutritional needs are respected.

Promote a positive dining experience that enhances residents’ wellbeing and quality of life.

Assist with special occasions, celebrations and hospitality events within the home

Maintain appropriate stock levels of beverages, snacks and hospitality suppliers.

Be responsible for promoting and protecting the welfare of individuals supported by the service
