Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase culinary talents, contribute to creating exceptional dining experiences, and work within a professional kitchen setting. The Chef de Partie will be responsible for managing specific sections of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality are maintained at all times.
Duties
- Prepare and cook dishes according to the restaurant’s recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence
- Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, such as grill, pastry, or sauces, maintaining organisation and cleanliness
- Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery during service hours
- Monitor food safety practices and uphold hygiene standards in line with health regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
- Assist in training junior kitchen staff and apprentices as required
- Maintain stock levels within your section, including ordering supplies when necessary
- Ensure that all dishes leaving the kitchen meet quality standards before serving to customers
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation methods
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management
- Previous experience working in a restaurant setting is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not essential

Pay: £14.00-£14.20 per hour
