About the Role
We are looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Trainee Vehicle Valet & Car Wash Assistant. This is a fantastic hands-on entry-level position where you will help prepare vehicles to the highest standards — and play a key part in how our vehicles are presented to customers.
A major aspect of this role involves photographing vehicles for our listings, so a strong eye for detail, composition, and presentation is essential. No prior valeting experience is needed — full training will be provided.
Please note: this role includes working every other Saturday morning as part of your regular schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Washing & Detailing
– Hand wash, rinse, and dry vehicles to a spot-free, showroom-quality finish
– Clean windows, mirrors, wheels, and tyres to a high standard
– Assist with interior cleaning including vacuuming, surface wiping, and dusting
Vehicle Photography
– Photograph vehicles for online listings and marketing purposes
– Ensure vehicles are clean, correctly positioned, and presented at their best before shooting
– Use a keen eye for detail, lighting, and angles to produce appealing, professional images
Parking & Vehicle Movement
– Safely move, park, and retrieve vehicles as directed
– Follow site instructions for vehicle positioning in the lot or showroom
General Preparation & Housekeeping
– Keep the work area clean, tidy, and organised at all times
– Inspect vehicles for visible damage and report any issues promptly
– Assist with pre-delivery preparation and general valet tasks as required
Requirements
✓ Valid UK driving licence (essential)
✓ A genuine eye for detail and a pride in producing high-quality work
✓ An interest in photography or a natural flair for composition and presentation
✓ Ability to work at pace in a busy, hands-on environment
✓ Comfortable with physical tasks including standing, bending, and lifting
✓ Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to every other Saturday morning
✓ No prior valeting or photography experience required — full training provided
Working Hours
This is a full-time position 8am too 5pm mon - friday. Your schedule will include every other Saturday morning as a regular part of your working week. Exact hours will be confirmed at interview
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
