Full job description

Job Title: Security Officer

Location: Llansamlet, Swansea

Hours: Average of 42 hours per week (with overtime available)

We are looking for a dedicated and client-focused Security Officer to join our team in the Llansamlet area of Swansea. In this role, you will ensure the ongoing safety and security of the site, while upholding a professional corporate image and maintaining consistently high standards of service.Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate logs, records, and incident reports at all times
Carry out internal and external foot patrols and site inspections as directed by management
Operate communication equipment and site alarm systems effectively
Ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety policies and procedures
Provide assistance and guidance to staff, visitors, and customers when required
Control site access and prevent unauthorised entry into restricted or prohibited areas
Undertake other reasonable duties as requested from time to time

Person SpecificationTo be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

Hold a valid SIA Frontline Licence
Have access to your own vehicle (essential due to the location)
Be smart in appearance, confident, and professional at all times
Possess proven experience and knowledge of the security industry
Be comfortable using mobile applications and digital systems
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Have the unrestricted right to work full-time in the UK
Be eligible to pass BS7858 vetting and screening (with a minimum of 5 years verifiable history)
Be reliable, punctual, and flexible to meet operational needs

Pay: £12.71 per hour
