We are now looking for a Restoration Technician to join our team. This is a unique and rewarding profession, and full training will be provided.
What the Role Involves
- Removing wet carpets, taking moisture readings and installing specialist drying equipment
- Cleaning and detoxifying fire damaged properties
- Capturing information through written reports and updating online portals
- Manual handling of equipment and contents
- Working in confined spaces such as attics
- A physically demanding role requiring good fitness
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need previous restoration experience — we will teach you everything you need to know. However, some experience in either commercial cleaning or construction-related work or similar practical trade is highly beneficial, and we’re looking for someone who is keen to learn on the job.
You should also be:
- Good with people and able to support customers during stressful situations
- Practical and hands on, with a willingness to learn
- Team player who can pitch in wherever needed
- Quickthinking, adaptable and safe in your approach
- Punctual and reliable
Training and Progression
We provide full training and will fund your BDMA certification, an industry recognised qualification. We value enthusiasm for learning and professional development, and once you have completed your training and certification, you will progress into a fully qualified Insurance Restoration Technician role.
Forklift training and ongoing development opportunities are also provided.
