Read on if you…
Are a senior UX/UI Designer and Researcher who enjoys working across both disciplines
Are excited by AI, emerging technology and shaping how work is done
Enjoy solving complex problems and turning them into simple, trusted user experiences
Can be based in our Luton head office around 3 days per week as part of our hybrid model
The Team
You’ll join our AI Workforce Experience team, an emerging, high‑impact group focused on transforming how colleagues across easyJet work through AI‑enabled tools and platforms. The team partners closely with Technology, HR, Operations and Product to design employee‑facing AI solutions that are practical, trustworthy and genuinely useful.
The Role
AI is changing what it means to work at easyJet — and this role sits right at the heart of that shift.
As Lead UX Designer you’ll lead the design and research practice for our growing portfolio of employee‑facing AI products, including AI productivity tooling used by colleagues across the business.
This is a true 50/50 role:
Design – translating complex AI capabilities into intuitive, high‑quality UX/UI
Research – uncovering real colleague needs and grounding product decisions in evidence
You’ll operate as a senior individual contributor, setting the bar for quality and influence across the portfolio. Over time, the role is expected to evolve into a chapter lead, owning employee‑facing UX/UI and research across easyJet’s AI and workforce transformation agenda.
Requirements of the Role
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who combines strong craft with deep curiosity and influence:
Proven experience as a senior UX/UI designer and/or user researcher, ideally spanning both disciplines
A strong portfolio showing end‑to‑end design thinking — from research and insight through to polished, production‑ready design
Experience designing internal or enterprise products, particularly complex, workflow‑driven tools
Comfort working in ambiguity, where AI capabilities and requirements evolve quickly
Excellent stakeholder skills — able to confidently present, influence and defend decisions with evidence
Proficiency in Figma (essential)
Experience with research and usability tooling (Maze, Userlytics, Hotjar or similar)
Working knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG/W3C)
Experience working in agile product teams
Familiarity with AI‑powered products and related UX challenges (trust, transparency, onboarding) is desirable but not essential
What you’ll get in return
Competitive salary and bonus
easyJet staff travel benefits
Pension, life assurance and flexible benefits
Hybrid working and a supportive, inclusive environment
Practicalities
This is a full‑time role, based in Luton, working 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working, with around 60% of time spent in the office per month.

At easyJet, we are committed to building an inclusive workplace that reflects the customers we serve across Europe. We welcome applications from all backgrounds.
