Job Overview
We are looking for a passionate and creative Junior Videographer / Cinematography Trainee to join our growing production team. This is a paid opportunity designed for someone who is eager to develop hands-on experience in filmmaking, cinematography, editing, and visual storytelling within a professional creative environment.
You’ll work across a range of productions including branded content, social media, promotional videos, behind-the-scenes content, and creative commercial projects. The role offers practical experience with cameras, lighting, editing workflows, and production techniques while working alongside experienced creatives.
This is an ideal role for someone looking to begin or grow a career in videography, filmmaking, cinematography, or digital content production.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and operation of cameras, lighting, audio, and production equipment
- Support video shoots both on-location and in studio environments
- Capture high-quality video footage under guidance from the production team
- Assist with editing video content for social media, web, and commercial projects
- Help organise footage, media assets, and project files efficiently
- Support post-production workflows including editing, colour correction, sound syncing, and exports
- Contribute creative ideas during planning, storyboarding, and production meetings
- Create short-form content and behind-the-scenes material for digital platforms
- Maintain production equipment and ensure kit is organised and shoot-ready
- Work collaboratively with designers, editors, producers, and creative leads
Desired Skills & Experience
- A strong interest in videography, cinematography, filmmaking, or content creation
- Basic understanding of camera operation, composition, framing, and lighting
- Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve is ideal, but Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro valued.
- Some experience with Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, or After Effects is beneficial
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Creative mindset with enthusiasm for visual storytelling
- Willingness to learn new production techniques and workflows
- Ability to take direction and work effectively as part of a team
- Previous personal projects, coursework, YouTube content, or portfolio work is advantageous but not essential

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
