Job Description
We are seeking an apprentice welder/fabricator to help us keep up with the increase in work load
you will be working directly under the factory supervisor with 4 other experienced welders to create metal structures , from gates to railings, staircases, to garden edging, RSJ's to entire steel building structures.
no 2 days will be the same and you may be in the factory or out on site.
you will need to be physically fit, as lifting and carrying will be part of the day to day operations, as will working on building sites and in inclement weather.
Experience:
Experience in Arc, Mig and Tig welding is preferred as is being already qualified but we will train and get you qualified as part of your apprenticeship.
You must be interested in reading plans and technical drawings, lifting & carrying, and working to high standards of accuracy.
You must be an easy commutable distance to our factory in Andover and be prepared to visit sites, so a full clean driving license is required
