competitive and professional boating. It represents dinghy and yacht racing, motor and sail cruising, RIBs and sports boats, windsurfing, inland cruising, and personal watercraft.
Content Manager
Salary: £40,000 - £44,000 per annum
Salary Grade: 4
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Location: Hamble (Hybrid)

Context of the Role:
The Content Manager is responsible for the development and delivery of the RYA content strategy, supporting marketing campaign planning, copy writing and the production of marketing materials for both on and offline channels.
This post plays a key role in creating, planning, coordinating and commissioning content across all owned channels. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation you will plan, brief, produce and review high quality, audience centric content.
This role within the Brand team is also responsible for coordinating the holistic development and delivery of key marketing campaigns throughout the year. The Content Manager is a strategic thinker with a hand on approach.
Much like a brand guardian, the role provides content support and guidance for the marketing department and the organisation, ensuring work meets RYA brand and tone of voice guidelines.
The role will require excellent cross functional working, particularly with the Video Production team, Digital Marketing Manager, Head of Digital, PR Managers, the RYA Magazine Editor and Head of Membership & Commercial Partnerships.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Lead the process to craft compelling content that resonates with our target audiences.

Produce, edit and manage written content across all appropriate marketing channels, both digital and print. Occasionally interviewing contributors.

Review existing content and identify opportunities to re-use and repurpose across multiple channels.

Responsible for quality control, checking, proofreading and editing for print and digital content to ensure accuracy and consistency of content, style, grammar, spelling, clarity, target audience suitability and inclusivity/diversity adherence.

Be a key point of contact for subject matter experts and for other departments.

Support the Digital Team to deliver day-to-day content output across all digital marketing channels.

Evaluate and monitor performance of all content to understand what works well and areas for further development.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience of creating content in a variety of formats including writing own copy.

Experience working within a busy and varied role.

Experience of online and offline content management.

Proven ability to work with a range of stakeholders.

Experience of leading content planning and ideation sessions.
