Description

We’re looking for a practical and customer-focused Warehouse / Yard Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll help keep our feedstore and yard organised, safe, and ready for customers. If you’re passionate about delivering great service, enjoy working in a physical, outdoor environment, and want to make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.

About The Role

Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time
Hours of Work: 40 Hours per week, working 5 out of 7 days on a rota basis

As Warehouse / Yard Assistant, you’ll play a key role in managing stock, supporting operational standards, and ensuring customers receive excellent service. You’ll work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a clean, safe environment and make sure every interaction reflects our values: customer first, innovative, knowledgeable, honest, committed, and courageous.

Key responsibilities include:

Assisting with goods inwards, stock rotation, and accurate processing of deliveries
Maintaining integrity of stock records and ensuring correct selling of items
Keeping feedstore and yard areas organised and compliant with company standards
Delivering friendly, solution-focused service to all customers
Ensuring compliance with health & safety policies and company procedures

About You

Experience providing excellent customer service in a practical, hands-on retail setting
Experience in manual handling and safe lifting practices
Experience working in an agricultural or feedstore environment
Forklift Truck licence (desirable)
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work under pressure
Friendly, enthusiastic, and flexible team player committed to success
