URGENT: Temporary Cover for one week.

Job Summary

A lovely family of five are seeking an experienced and hands-on Housekeeper to support the smooth running of their busy family home on a private estate in Berkshire, for one week's cover.

The property comprises a five-bedroom residence together with additional estate buildings and grounds. The family are looking for a proactive, reliable and highly discreet individual who takes pride in maintaining exceptional standards and enjoys creating a well-organised and welcoming home environment.

This is a practical role with a strong focus on housekeeping and laundry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the family home, ensuring the property is always presented to a high standard, whilst providing flexible support wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily cleaning and upkeep of the family home
Maintaining consistently high standards of cleanliness, presentation and organisation throughout the property
Family laundry, ironing and garment care
Bed changes and linen management
Household organisation and general tidiness
Assisting with the care of two family dogs
Running occasional household errands
Providing flexible support to the family as required
Occasional cooking or meal preparation would be advantageous but is not essential

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have previous experience working within a private household, ideally within an HNW environment
Possess excellent housekeeping, laundry and ironing skills
Have exceptional attention to detail and take genuine pride in their work
Be reliable, trustworthy and highly discreet
Be proactive, organised and capable of working independently
Enjoy being hands-on and taking ownership of their role
Be flexible and willing to assist wherever needed
Be child and dog friendly
Hold a full UK driving licence and have their own transport due to the estate location
Be able to provide excellent checkable references

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced housekeeper seeking a varied role within a warm and welcoming family household. The family value professionalism, reliability, discretion and a positive, can-do attitude above all else.

Schedule

Monday-Friday | 8:30am-6:30pm.

Cover required from Monday 6th July - Friday 10th July.

Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience.

Pay: £20.00-£22.00 per hour

Experience:

working in a HNW environment: 5 years (preferred)
