The role
We are looking for a reliable and organised Breakfast chef to take full responsibility of the kitchen breakfast operations. Working independently, you will prepare, cook and present each dish to meet the service standards.
In this role, you will oversee all aspects of the breakfast operation not only the cooking but also the breakfast stock, cleanliness and efficiency. Assisting the kitchen brigade with additional duties including team meals.
You will work closely with our front of house team to coordinate the service, assisting each other where needed and working as one team striving for the happiness of our guests.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Prepare and cook a variety of dishes from the Breakfast and Lounge menu.
· Assist with general kitchen preparation and tasks.
· Manage the weekend staff meals.
· Has basic pastry skills.
· Set up the breakfast shift ready for service, ensure that service runs to a timely manner.
· Breakfast is cooked to a high standard, all breakfast items that leave the kitchen are freshly cooked.
· Monitor stock levels and inform senior chefs of orders.
· Ensure food hygiene and health and safety is adhered to at all times.
· Self-motivated.
· Previous experience as a breakfast chef is preferred.
· Able to work independently and as a team.
· Assist in other Farlam Hall service as needed.
· Flexibility in availability to assist with holidays etc
2 days per week, 7am – 4pm @ £12.72.
