About the role
We're looking for a Power BI Developer to help turn data into meaningful insights that support decision-making across the organisation. Working with stakeholders at all levels, you'll create reporting and dashboards that help teams understand performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and interpret live business data relating to sales, stock, customers, and finance.
- Develop, maintain, and improve dashboards and reports that provide clear and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with business teams and senior managers to understand reporting requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
- Present complex data in a clear and meaningful way for non-technical audiences.
- Help automate recurring reports and improve data processes to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency.
- Support the ongoing development and maintenance of reporting frameworks and data structures.
- Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting to support projects, operational requirements, and business decisions.
- Take ownership of issues and seek to provide swift solutions.
- Support colleagues with data and reporting queries when required.
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of company information at all times.
Skills, knowledge and experience
- Confident using Microsoft Excel to work with data, spot trends, and create useful reports.
- Experience creating Power BI reports and dashboards that are clear, useful, and easy to understand.
- Able to analyse data, find patterns, and turn the results into clear insights through regular and one-off reporting.
- Comfortable working with CSV files, databases, and other structured data to prepare information for reporting.
- Ability to communicate data insights in a clear, accessible way for non-technical users to support decision-making
