WHAT IS INVOLVED?

Youll be a key point of coordination, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations and providing exceptional administrative support to colleagues across a wide range of programmes. If you enjoy variety, problem-solving and working collaboratively, this role offers all of that - and more.

What youll be doing:

Supporting the Public Health Team to ensure business needs are prioritised and managed effectively.
Managing incoming communications - email, post and telephone - identifying key issues and ensuring timely follow-up.
Creating and maintaining spreadsheets, reports and presentations using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Spotting urgent issues and escalating them to senior team members when needed.
Arranging meetings: booking venues, sending invitations, preparing agendas, taking minutes and tracking actions.
Preparing and presenting documents and formal minutes using information from a range of sources.
Managing electronic diaries, coordinating appointments and scheduling meetings for the team.
Processing invoices and tracking financial transactions using Oracle systems.
Providing administrative support to managers in monitoring and managing budgets.

WHAT WILL I NEED?

You should hold a NVQ Level 3 in Business Admin or equivalent in related subject.
