Kairos & Metis, a data consultancy company providing business intelligence services, is currently working on a large data collection project.
We are looking to build a team of local data collectors to verify locations mainly in the hospitality sector.
Details:
- Pay per point of interest (venues such as cafes, restaurants, shops etc.)
- Verification of location through photos and videos (no need to consume or buy anything or engage with the venue staff)
- Self-employed contract (you'll only pay tax and NI if you exceed the annual limit of £12,570 meaning you'll receive your project earnings without deductions)
- Location: Glasgow (centre and suburbs/outskirts)
- Training will be available (video tutorial, documentation and Q&A)
- Project start: immediately
- Expected project duration: 30-40 days including weekends (expected end date: 31 July/10 August)
- May turn into a recurring project
Requirements:
- Reliable and efficient with an eye for detail
- Basic digital/smartphone/app know-how
- Able to take clear videos and sharp photos (on your own smartphone)
- New-ish smartphone model (regular-large RAM size, fast processing) | Android (no iPhone or Huawei)
- Personal SIM card with data and wifi enabled
- Willing to download and install an app to verify locations (privacy protection rules apply)
- Ideally available consistently during the duration of the project - as self-employed, you choose the days and hours you work but it will need to be within the opening hours of the venues
This would ideally fit someone who's freelancing or in between jobs, students, stay-at-home parents, or someone on Universal Credit (we can adjust pay accordingly if needed).
