Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Receptionist, where your energy and organizational skills will be the first touchpoint for patients seeking compassionate care. In this vital role, you’ll manage front desk operations, coordinate patient appointments, and ensure a smooth flow of administrative tasks that keep our clinic running efficiently. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment for all visitors and support the delivery of outstanding medical services.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments with precision and care
Manage incoming calls, answer inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff members promptly
Maintain accurate patient records, update electronic health records (EHR), and handle documentation with confidentiality
Verify insurance information, process payments, and assist with billing procedures
Coordinate communication between patients, medical staff, and other departments to ensure seamless operations
Keep the reception area organized, tidy, and stocked with necessary supplies to promote efficiency

Qualifications

Previous office experience or administrative experience is highly valued for this role
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail in managing schedules and records
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office or similar programs
