Multi-Skilled TradespersonJob Summary

CJM Facilities Management Ltd are seeking a skilled and versatile Multi-Skilled Tradesperson to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of experience within the building and maintenance industry and be confident carrying out a variety of property maintenance and repair works across commercial and domestic sites.

The successful applicant will be reliable, professional, motivated, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team. This role involves working across reactive maintenance, refurbishments, insurance works, and general building maintenance projects.

Duties

Carry out maintenance and repair work across multiple trades
Complete reactive and planned maintenance works efficiently and safely
Diagnose faults and identify practical solutions on site
Perform general building and maintenance tasks including joinery, plumbing, tiling, decorating, plastering, and basic repairs
Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance works to minimise downtime
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and complies with health & safety regulations
Maintain a professional and courteous manner with clients and customers
Document work activities and report any issues encountered on site
Support team members and assist with emergency call-outs when required

Requirements

Proven experience within a multi-trade or property maintenance role
Strong practical knowledge across a range of building trades
Ability to work independently and use initiative confidently
Reliable, punctual, and well organised
Professional appearance and attitude
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
Flexible approach to work and willingness to participate in emergency call-outs
Full clean driving licence essential
Relevant trade qualifications beneficial but not essential
