Full job description

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated amnd experienced Level 3 or above Early Years Educator to join our team. and lead our 12 place Baby Room. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and specialised baby room experience and a genuine love for working with young children. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the holistic development of children aged 0-5 years. You will be responsible for creating engaging learning experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, and social skills.

Usual hours of work will be over 4 days between Monday - Friday 7.30-6pm

Duties

Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support children's learning and development.
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children to explore and learn.
Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and identifying areas for improvement.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support children's needs.
Manage behaviour in a positive manner, promoting respect and cooperation among children.
Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and enhance the overall quality of care provided.
Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, development milestones, and any concerns that may arise.
Promote children's well-being, health, and safety within the nursery setting.

Requirements

Experience working with children in a childcare or early years setting is essential.
Have suitable experience in working with children under two.
A recognised qualification to level 3 or above in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is preferred.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a small team effectively.
A genuine passion for nurturing young minds and fostering their development.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to take initiative when required.
A commitment to ongoing professional development in early years education practices.
