As we deliver our ambitious 2030 Growth Strategy, we’re looking for a Business Finance Analyst. This role will support the Commercial Business Finance team in delivering high-quality financial insight, reporting, and analysis to enable informed business decision-making. You will play a key role in helping the business understand performance drivers through the delivery of robust reporting and analysis, supporting financial planning, performance reviews, and commercial decision-making.
This role is suited to a part-qualified or newly qualified finance professional looking to develop within a commercially focused finance environment and build a career in business partnering.
Who We’re Looking For:
You will bring:

Part-qualified or newly qualified finance professional (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).

A commercially minded approach, with curiosity and a desire to understand business performance

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and translate it into clear business insight.

Experience of financial reporting, KPI analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or variance analysis.

Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills, with confidence working with large datasets (experience or interest in GenAI would be beneficial).

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- A collaborative mindset with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Support the preparation and delivery of month-end reporting and financial performance analysis

Support budgeting and forecasting processes through analysis, reporting, and financial insight.

Carry out variance analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities against budgets, forecasts, and prior performance.

Translate financial analysis into meaningful insights to support business and operational leaders

Support continuous improvement in financial reporting, analysis, and business processes

Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across the business.

Respond to internal data and reporting requests across the business.
