Salary: £32,916-£45,351 per annum (depending on experience, role and/or qualifications)
About the role
Heart of Supply is delighted to be supporting a welcoming and ambitious academy school in Lincoln with the recruitment of a full-time Music Teacher to join their team from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic teacher to inspire a love of music across the secondary age range. Whether you're an experienced Music Teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), we'd love to hear from you.
You'll be responsible for delivering engaging and creative Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging pupils to develop their practical skills, musical knowledge and confidence. The successful candidate will create an inclusive and supportive learning environment where every pupil is encouraged to participate, perform and achieve their potential.
We're looking for a teacher with strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues alike. You'll be organised, adaptable and committed to helping young people develop both musically and personally.
About the school/us
The school is committed to providing a high-quality education where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential, both academically and personally. Music plays an important role within the wider curriculum, and the successful candidate will join a supportive department that values creativity, collaboration and high expectations.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a school that invests in its staff, promotes professional development and provides a positive, inclusive learning environment where both pupils and colleagues can thrive.
Working with Heart of Supply means you'll receive honest, personalised support throughout the recruitment process. We'll take the time to understand what you're looking for, answer any questions you have and be with you every step of the way as you secure your next role.

- Confident, consistent behaviour management with the ability to create a calm, purposeful and inclusive learning environment.
- Excellent classroom organisation and the ability to build positive relationships quickly with pupils, colleagues and parents.
- A proactive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching, with a genuine commitment to helping young people achieve their potential.
- A willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school, including performances, concerts, extracurricular music activities or enrichment opportunities where appropriate.
