Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and versatile carpenter to join our team. This position involves a diverse range of construction tasks across our projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong aptitude for carpentry, experience with a variety of tools, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in dynamic environments. This role is offered on a self-employed basis with the potential to move to PAYE for the right candidate.
Skills & Duties
- NVQ 2/3 in Carpentry in addition to wide ranging carpentry experience.
- Experience in first fix, second fix, roofing (trussed and cut), historic properties and new-build construction.
- Excellent attention to detail whilst having the ability to understand timescales and wider project priorities.
- Ability to follow instructions when required but also to take the initiative and lead when required.
- Competence in carpentry, masonry, roofing, or related trades is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Physical fitness to work in demanding environments for extended periods

Pay: £24.00-£26.00 per hour
