Full job description

Job Summary
Tutties Neuk is an established pub with restaurant in Arbroath and due to continued expansion of providing hospitality to Arbroath Football Club, we need another kitchen superstar to join us. The ideal candidate will have a background in food preparation. As a Cook, you will be responsible for creating delicious meals that meet our high standards while ensuring a clean and efficient kitchen environment.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Assist in meal preparation for special events or large groups as required.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of meals served.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as necessary.

Qualifications

Preferred experience as a Cook or in a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment.
Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Can be taught on job.
A certificate in Food Hygiene would be advantageous.

Ideal Candidate

Reliable and available to work a variety of shifts. Including evenings and weekends.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining high standards of quality.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently when required.
